"Our new ministry name, Encounters Ministries International, came through a season of prayer where Greg and I sensed the Holy Spirits leading for us to emphasize the criticalness of the reason for our encounters with the Lord, "I have appeared to you FOR THIS PURPOSE, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you...to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God..."

"Every believer, at some point in his or her life, has had an encounter with Jesus FOR A PURPOSE. Our heart is to stir up the Body of Christ to never lose sight of that purpose but to do whatever is necessary to press in to the Lord to fulfill it.

"The enemy of our souls is primarily after one thing in our lives as believers; he wants to stifle our gifts and callings. When we are in our element so to speak, we are operating in our strongest anointing according to the will of God. Without a doubt, these purpose-filled actions bring about much fruit and expansion for the kingdom - this is what Satan wants to halt - the expansion of God's kingdom in the earth. The only way people are saved, delivered, and set on a new heavenly course is when other believers obey God in their callings to witness, give, help, and live their lives entirely for Him! Greg and I are believing God for boundless and enduring encounters in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people in the coming years.
