Let me tell you the story of "the day" I sang with the angels. What started as a "normal day" became "a day" that changed my life. Michael Kirschbaum WhereAngelsSing@gmail.com A "Normal Day"
On 5/2/89 I was in my apartment sitting in my
living room. God had given me “A Vision” that He put to words and music
through me as I sat before Him.
I felt impressed to play the piano, record the song and send it
to my brother Gary living in
So I obeyed my impression; I got out the only thing I had to record on -
a small tape recorder and was soon at the piano to record. I started the
tape by saying a few words to Gary and his wife jokingly and then
stopped the tape. I felt to pray before going any further; I did and
gave it no more thought. The presence of God was building in the room in such a powerful way, it was almost overwhelming to me. I turned the tape recorder back on and started to play and sing the words I’d written. When the "written song" was finished, I felt strongly to continue playing. Accompanied by the piano, I sang my prayers and shed many tears. The Holy Spirit led me on a beautiful journey of worship.
... Got a Little Less "Normal"...
Suddenly I had a strong unction to prophesy to my brother,
sister-in-law and my family. After saying what I felt impressed to say
to my family, the playing came to an end.
Even as I write this tears fall
from my eyes. God moved in my life that day in such a Powerful way. The
residual presence as this story unfolds on paper is still almost as real
as the event itself all those years ago in
With the music stopped, I rewound the tape. As the tape began to play back the recording, I experienced the most overwhelming feeling I'd ever experienced. “This can’t be”. I thought astounded … After the first 16 beats there are “Angels” singing… They come in with and Ahhhhh and they don’t stop… As I listened to the tape all I could do was cry. The angels were throughout the worship. In addition there were instruments and horns.
Awe struck me. I thought “who am I that God would bring something like this through me and allow this to happen…?” I couldn’t stop crying. Finally I was able to stop the tears. I called my parents home, my other brother Jeff and his wife Karie were there. I drove over to play it for them – I wanted to make sure they were hearing the same thing I was and wasn't totally crazy. They heard it as well. Wow. We were all blown away; speechless.
So there it was - God's heavenly host singing with me - wh
Sometimes God does something in your life and it is a one time encounter, but since that time I can hear the angels of heaven sing and the orchestra play. It is breathtaking. The children are a sound to be heard.
Has it happened again on tape? Throughout the years (on a few tapes that I have made), there have been angels singing on them.
The first story is about the tape referred to previously in this
article. My niece Chrissy
was about 11 years old. She was going through a hard time and
began playing my tape at night as she went to bed.
She took it from her father's room. Though she didn't understand
"why", the tape brought her “peace”.
She did not know it was angels on the tape, she only thought it
was her Uncle Mike's music.
One night as it played – she looked at the bottom of her bed; she saw me
playing a piano and a large angel singing with me.
Needless to say it freaked her out and she was afraid to play the
tape for awhile after that!
The second story is this:
God has specific songs to sing that will inspire and encourage his
people individually. It was
my privilege to write such a song for Jeff and Alina Parrott (Acts in
Motion) one day while at my Brother Jeff and Karie’s home in I was inspired by the Holy Spirit and given a song for the Parrots and their ministry. I sat down at my niece, Chrissy’s piano (“Yes” She had a “real one” as well as the one she saw in the vision). We recorded the music and song as they danced to it (they are unbelievable and gifted dancers and are such a blessing to all). I gave them the tape and have not heard it since. How do I know when to 'Share"?
With the exception of a few VERY CLOSE FRIENDS, I don’t share the
tapes God has given me with anyone other than the person/people they
were done for. It is their
love gift from God. There
is one exception: I did share the tape noted above with about 25
students of a church school several years ago as I shared about
music and angels.
It is now 8/09, 20 years later.
I feel like the tape that was recorded in my apartment on 5/2/89
now needs to be released. I would never put this out if I didn’t believe
that this was not God’s timing. I have nothing to do with what He has
given other than made myself available for Him to bring it through.
It is my heart that you will be “Blessed” by this music and the sounds
accompanying it. I pray healing, wholeness and deliverance will come and
that your needs will be met in Him and through Him as you worship.
