Greg and Valorie Shortman have a heart to see revival hit the Native Americans and their

communities. Only 5% of the Native American’s are born again Christians but the

Shortman’s believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform the Native American’s

lives, hearts and homes.

Greg is an Assiniboine/Gros Ventre from the Fort Belknap Indian reservation in Northern

Montana. He grew up in the traditions of the Assiniboine tribe. Greg grew up with the

Northern plains pow-wow culture where he learned to sing pow-wow from his

grandfather.

Before Greg gave his heart to the Lord, he had a pow-wow drum group call Red Paint.

After Greg gave his heart to the Lord, he started a Christian pow-wow drum group called

Red Altar. Red Altar has one CD out called Created To Worship.

Valorie ministers in a Jewish Messianic dance team.

Greg and Valorie minister at conferences and conduct outreaches to the Native

Americans. They encourage and assist Pastors and Leaders around the country to start a

ministry for the Native Americans.

Greg and Valorie live in Littleton Colorado with their son Jadon. They have been

ministering at Phoenix First Assembly Pastors’ School since 2002.
