Greg and Valorie Shortman have a heart to see revival hit the Native Americans and their
communities. Only 5% of the Native American’s are born again Christians but the
Shortman’s believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform the Native American’s
lives, hearts and homes.
Greg is an Assiniboine/Gros Ventre from the Fort Belknap Indian reservation in Northern
Montana. He grew up in the traditions of the Assiniboine tribe. Greg grew up with the
Northern plains pow-wow culture where he learned to sing pow-wow from his
grandfather.

Richard and Katherine Twiss were some of
the first ministers of the first nations that touched us in such a way
that we knew God would always have us connected to the Native movement
in the various lands we travel.
Wiconi Vision: Among
the friends and staff of Wiconi International, our hope is to inspire in
people a vision that the possibility exists to experience genuine hope
and confidence for a better life in our broken world. As we seek to live
and walk among the people “in a good way” by following the ways of
Jesus-- affirming, respecting and embracing the God-given cultural
realities of Native/Indigenous people, not rejecting or demonizing them,
we believe we will bring words of hope and life!
